Nasal function testing
Objective assessment of the nasal airway
We offer the widest range of objective nasal function testing, alongside unparalleled expertise in disorders that cause nasal airway obstruction.
The most important step in treating your nasal airway problem is to get an accurate diagnosis, and to understand how you respond to treatment. Patients can benefit from detailed assessment of their nasal airway at London Nose & Sinus Clinic, using advanced tests where applicable.
We recognise how important it is for you to choose the right specialist for your medical care.

Nasal function testing at LNSC
Nasal endoscopy is the first step for most patients in assessing and understanding your nasal airway. This allows your Consultant to obtain a very detailed view of the nasal airway from front to back, as well as to view the openings of the sinuses for signs of inflammation or nasal polyps.
In some cases, direct examination of the nose is all that is required. In more complex cases it can help to have more detailed information about the nasal airway and airflow. At London Nose & Sinus Clinic we offer a range of advanced objective testing, including CT scanning, nasal inspiratory peak flow (NIPF) and acoustic rhinometry.
